Welcome to the Cuggiono Genealogy Forum

To post on the forum, you will have to register on the login page and create a password. I will be approving all registrations as well as the posts in the beginning, both as a spam control and to learn the ins and outs of the forum.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! When you register, please take the time to send me an email at the contact email and tell me who you are, what user name you chose to use on the forum, and what surnames you are researching. The reason I am asking you to do this is that most of the requests to join the forum appear to be probable spammers. If I do not receive an email that I can associate with a forum registration request, I WILL NOT APPROVE THE FORUM REGISTRATION REQUEST!

TO REGISTER:
1. Click on login/register page, which will take you to the forum where you will find a login/register area under the existing entries.
2. Click the register button and it will take you to a page with all the "legal junk" on it, click the I agree to these terms button.
3. Choose a username, between 3 and 20 characters, alpha, numeric or spaces are allowed, enter your email address and enter 2nd time to confirm.
4. Choose a Password between 6-100 characters in length, enter a 2nd time to confirm and then hit the submit button.

Your registration will not be active until I have approved it. You should receive an email alerting you that your registration has been approved.

NOTE: Near the top of the page, in the light blue box that says BOARD INDEX on the left side, on the right side of that box, and it is difficult to see, there is a symbol that looks something like an A with a down and up arrow on either side. If you click the arrow on the left, pointing down, it will decrease the size of the text on the page. If you click the right arrow, pointing up, it will increase the size of the text on the page on your monitor. I have not had a lot of good results with these things on other sites, but try it if you feel the need. There are, however, only 3 sizes!

Do not be alarmed if the forum changes appearance at some point, I have several different color scheme and design options available and may change it from time to time. Some are much easier to read than others, and I picked the one I thought to be the best option in that regard - even though it does not look anything like the rest of the website. Changing appearances will not affect the entries, everything will still be there, it will just look different! (So I've been told.)
